“To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don’t worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest.”
Our heroes of the USS Enterprise will be taking a well-lit “Star Trek into Darkness,” proving the stars really do shine their brightest in the darkest of places (and among the glitziest of celebrities). “The English Teacher,” meanwhile, is on a wild (yet significantly smaller) ride of her own, correcting syntax while conducting inappropriate after-school activities. Kirk and Spock, as well as the grammatically-correct educator, will be sharing big-screen space with “Iron Man (3),” the strongest of superheroes, alongside the greatest of self-made millionaires, “The Great Gatsby,” who’s too busy throwing lavish parties and brooding over a lost love to care about the competition. He knows there’s room in the cinematic sky for stars of all kinds, traveling along the most illustrious, entertaining path. They all politely pave the way for the rest of the month-of-May cast, who are involved in a variety of things, including fast car chases, as well as figuring out what happens after the earth is gone but before the clock strikes midnight while reading up on the best remedies for hangovers.
They soon discover the cure for pre-summer blues (and after-party headaches) at the local multiplex.
