Riddick Brings the Drama

“Riddick” has finally arrived to battle his sinister nemeses in the dark as well as his character-driven competition appearing in our darkened movie theaters. “Lee Daniel’s The Butler” is too busy serving the competition his cinematic leftovers to care about the guy with the creepy night vision. The cute British boys who are successfully traveling in “One Direction: (declaring) This is Us” clobbering the less-musically inclined opposition find the anti-hero cool but way less appealing than their mirrors declare them to be. Comedy is still making a killing, but when will moviegoers tire of the troupe continuously and cunningly declaring “We’re the Millers?” The “Planes,” adorable as they are, are bound to come in for a landing (and an eventual DVD release); who will take their space in the air? “Elysium” residents, meanwhile, will eventually need to find a cushy home outside of the coveted box office. Who will take their high-class place?
“Instructions (may) Not (be) Included” for a brand new season at the box office, but our ever-changing cast is set to sail through September toward the arrival of imposing contenders, including “The mob Family” rumored to soon be familiarize themselves with impressive box-office status of their own.
Ready for some drama of the familial, fictional and fabulous kind?
