It’s Good to be Bad

“Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” to the good folks filling movie theater seats this weekend, counting on his horrendous behavior drawing a shameless crowd. Will he be featured at the top of the domestic box-office charts once again or will “Gravity” take back the top space? Can “The Counselor” “Free Birds” from the Thanksgiving menu (and the bottom of those all-important box office charts?) Perhaps “Captain Phillips” will rescue them all from the movie version of Hell with “Carrie” as a cold-hearted cohort. Happily the Heavens have opened beneath skies appearing “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2” delightful to be denied. The starry quartet experiencing their “Last Vegas” excursion are hopeful their shenanigans will result, in the end, in cinematic gold. Speaking of endings, heroes and horrors thrive this weekend, as Harrison Ford is playing a dangerous “Ender’s Game” with the latest alien invaders. Will they occupy an extra special, extraterrestrial spot on moviegoers’ must-see list?
The first weekend in November is appearing in colors of all kinds, with life in the land of make believe heating up beyond expectations. Aliens invade but will animation reign? Mature men are behaving badly (but profitably), stories in outer space are still taking up plenty of movie space, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt fight for justice for all, while everyone at the movies is having a ball! Carrie let loose on All Hallow’s Eve, as The Counselor searched for his own authorized reprieve.
From seaside days to starry nights, November promises the most entertaining characters invading a movie theater near you…
