Traveling the Cinematic Circuit

Feel the “Need for Speed” this first weekend in spring? With winter making its final appearance in the (for some of us, still snowy) rearview mirror, it’s the greatest of times to take the grandest of world tours alongside the “Muppets Most Wanted,” who are seeking, among other things, audience attention. They’ll have a bit of competition in the family-friendly department, as top dog “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” seek to reach the littlest moviegoers along their time-travel trip. “Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club” would like to add more movie members to their far-from-solo party while the high-numbered gang comprising “300: Rise of an Empire” strives to escalate above them all. The new gang in town, however, comprising the dangerous class known as “Divergent,” are prepared to diverge the minds of moviegoers’ from speed demons, animators, air marshals and moms of the singular kind.
With all this “Non-Stop,” fast-paced fun happening thanks to a crew of eclectic characters, is there a better circuit to travel this weekend than the one leading to the biggest screens?
