Film Adaptations and Family-Friendly Animation

With movie lovers finally diverging from winter activities, there’s a new, treacherous team traveling through town known as “Divergent,” whose dangerous deeds consist of stealing the focus away from their tough competition. They’ll have to constantly be looking in their rearview mirror, however, as a crew of cinematic racers are traveling that same Technicolor trail. Following their European trip, the “Muppets Most Wanted” wish only to kick back and enjoy the simple things in life: fans, friendship, and, of course, box-office success. Will they send “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” back in time (and way behind them in the blockbuster lineup?) Can “Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club” multiply their friendly fan base while grounding action-inspired tales with their “Non-Stop” romantic troubles? Perhaps “300: Rise of an Empire” will rise above them all in the runaway-success ranks and reclaim the top spot within the infamous cinematic kingdom.
Teen angst, time travel, Muppet mania and mistaken identity, riveting race car drivers, clubs for cool moms, plus the rise and collapse of an empire; our movie society is offering the greatest sightseeing tour this first fling of spring!
Experiencing the “Need for Speed” to the Technicolor screen? No rush, these stories have plenty of life left in them just waiting to be told all season long.
From seaside days to starry nights, this weekend finds the coolest characters springing up all over the classiest of movie towns…
