Creative Movie Minds

Poet Criss Jami once said, “Create with the heart, build with the mind.”
The controversial “Noah” built quite an impressive audience this weekend, sailing into the hearts of moviegoers and right to the #1 spot at the domestic box office with $44 million. The cool kids sent “Divergent” to the classy #2 locale with $27.7 million. The “Muppets Most Wanted” left them wanting more from the animated area of #3 with $11.7 million. “Mr. Peabody and Sherman” found family-friendly time waiting at the #4 place with $9.5 million. “The Grand Budapest Hotel” did a grand business in expanded theaters, coming in at #5 with a magnificent $8.8 million.
Arks, action, adventure and, of course, animation held audiences’ attention this last weekend in March. Noah knows no bounds, Muppets made the most colorful home, Schwarzenegger truly was sabotaged by the competition and diversity was the spice of life as a benevolent spirit watched over them all in the grandest of cinematic accommodations.
From seaside days to starry nights, the most creative tales were being told atop the big screen, speaking right to the hearts and minds of movie lovers…
