Cinematic Pairings

It’s the dawn of a new “Draft Day,” as the NFL dreamers take on the animated wonders. They’ll naturally have to get in line behind “Captain America: (who defeated) The Winter Soldier” and the rest of the competition at the box office last week. Will he be this week’s number one pick once again? Fresh from the wild and wacky Amazon, the colorful crew from “Rio 2” is ready to battle it out with “The Muppets Most Wanted,” who have yet to achieve the animated status they so desperately desire. Desiring nothing more than to stay cinematically afloat, “Noah” is forming his own crafty crew while doing his best to pair up only the most entertaining characters. Always up for the challenge of selective pairing, the “Divergent” darlings are counting on their selectively chosen young adult audience leading them to even further stardom. The accolades continue for an unassuming lobby boy and a legendary concierge, currently offering admittance to all ages at “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” Inside their lush quarters, a choir of angels successfully sings another round of “God’s Not Dead” to a spirited crowd.
Our characters are having a spirited, grand time at the most luxuriously imaginative places, where anything is possible (the more absurd the better). In their made-up benevolent creation, soldiers succeed, dreamers have their day, the wilds really are wonderful and those aboard that infamous Ark are rubbing elbows with their animated counterparts.
Who wouldn’t want to be a part of all that fun?
