Animation, Alienation and All-Out Domination

Will “The Fault in Our Stars” result, once again, in a faultless spot at the box office this weekend? Can Tom against all odds conquer the teens from the treacherous “Edge of Tomorrow?” Clearly, the malicious “Maleficent” has no time for teen angst or extraterrestrial beings as she polishes her heavy crown. How long will she remain the royal star of her own show?
The new-to-the-block crew taking over “22 Jump Street” plan on royally leaping past the rest of the pack on their journey toward ultimate sequel domination. While getting ahead of alienation, they, of course, shouldn’t rule out the ever-popular animation. Maybe our youngest movie members can teach the more mature set “How to Train Your Dragon 2” beat the Street, Cruise past the alien-polluted province, the Disney reigning queen and the latest tortured teens on the scene. Clearly, our pre-summer stars have the burden of carrying a heavy movie load. Who could blame them for pulling out all the (entertaining) stops?
Can you find fault with this weekend’s entertainment choices?
