Crawling to the Box Office Top

Crime was running rampant as the “Nightcrawler” clawed his way to the dark but compelling top spot at the domestic box office with $10.91 million. The creepy crawler seemed content to share the wealth with the all-important “Ouija” board, still freaking out audiences and the rest of the competition with $10.9 million. Brad Pitt released his movie version of “Fury” from the #3 locale with $9.10 million. That “Gone Girl” was still going strong, settling in this week at the #4 spot with $8.8 million. The “Book of Life” was being thoroughly enjoyed at the #5 region with $8.3 million.
From coast to coast, mysteries and criminal injustice plagued movie theaters, as war games, wounded gals and well-read tales made themselves at home in our imaginative world (as well as that inspired box office). The plight of our make-believe beauties coasting along treacherous terrain inspired movie lovers to cancel outdoor activities in favor of Must-See indoor entertainment.
Which creative invention inspired you this weekend?
