Music and some Mistletoe, Hobbits and a Hero

“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” was Santa’s favorite film for a second weekend in a row, holding onto that #1 spot at the domestic box office with $41.4 million. Angelina Jolie’s World War II biopic “Unbroken” was breaking hearts while lifting spirits from the #2 place with $31.7 million. There was a song in moviegoers’ hearts this holiday weekend, as mistletoe and music followed our weary holiday shoppers, metaphorically speaking, “Into the Woods” and straight into the melodious #3 land with $31 million. A “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” revealed many secrets worth telling at the #4 zone with $20. 6million. “Annie” was singing a sweet, soulful tune from the #5 area with $16.6 million.

Before Santa (and an odd assortment of stories) sledded off into the sunset, he treated the naughty and the nice with adorable orphans, magical museums, memorable musicals and fantasy-driven tales, gracious gift givers, heroes, hobbits, armies and even Angelina!

Which of our magical tales was Santa’s best gift to you?
