Tomorrowland takes on the Pitch Perfect Present

The road leading to that imaginative land known as tomorrow was paved in mystery and magic, as the long holiday weekend inspired movie lovers to celebrate close to home, happy in a Disney-inspired Tomorrowland (with George Clooney as the most enchanting present-day hero). With a Pitch Perfect 2 honor the memorable occasion, audiences far and wide left movie theaters with a song in their hearts quickly muffled to a low hum upon crossing paths with the non-melodious Mad Max: (hanging on) Fury Road (where nary a sweet song was heard). Along that same high-octane driven path, the Avengers: Age of Ultron was aging well, content to be far from the Poltergeist entity currently invading the big screen.

The movie invasion is on, with tomorrow’s mysteries blending perfectly with today’s melodies, Mad Max and a manifestation of the evil sort. There’s no better time than the present to meet and greet our odd but awesome cast!

Box Office Estimates:

  1. Tomorrowland $41.7 million.
  2. Pitch Perfect 2 $38.5 million.
  3. Mad Max: Fury Road $32.1 million.
  4. Avengers: Age of Ultron $27.8 million.
  5. Poltergeist $26.5 million.
