Jurassic World trumps the Terminator

An imaginative array of fireworks found their way into our movie theaters this all-American weekend, where our most patriotic characters added the coolest colors to the big screen. Jurassic World was still the most popular stomping grounds for our civic-minded cinematic community, ultimately producing the biggest sparks at the holiday box office. Our littlest emotional moviegoers were feeling red, white and blue Inside Out as they celebrated alongside their less-sensitive movie counterparts. Terminator Genisys was discovered going through those cyborg emotions common to human robot hybrids that’ve spent years threatening to come back to our movie towns, sadly failing to become the biggest comeback kid.  Magic Mike XXL did his own particular dance rendition to the national anthem (to a grateful, mostly female movie nation) with a stylish assist from Ted 2, who most definitely dances to the beat of his own stuffed drum.

Which of our talented team members do you think provided the greatest dance moves this weekend?

Estimated Box Office Totals:

  1. Jurassic World $43.8 million.
  2. Inside Out $30.1 million.
  3. Terminator Genisys $28.7million.
  4. Magic Mike XXL $11.6 million.
  5. Ted 2 $11 million.
