The Heart of the Holiday Season

Is  The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 satisfied with their three-time box-office win or are they hungry for more? Creed has been cruising along nicely, raising spirits (and profits) while Krampus seems content to crush young, badly-behaved souls (isn’t it’s Santa’s job to determine who’s naughty and who’s nice?) Might The Good Dinosaur, clearly on the Nice List, feel so bad about all that soul crushing and head out of town in search of the all-knowing, good-as-gold Santa Claus? During this season of good will, could horror ever trump holiday fun?

Many agree it’s been fun having James Bond’s Spectre hanging around, looking as cool are ever, but isn’t it time he ride off into the sunset, knowing full well that he will ride another day?

With destiny clearly at play in our entertainment world, perhaps the answer to all of these questions and more can be found In the Heart of the Sea, where a stranded crew has plenty of time to ponder which holiday film to see first (assuming they eventually reach land).

No matter how you travel, by land or by sea, the holidays are made all the sweeter thanks to our sweet and sour characters in their finest, most festive form.

Which of our festive tales do you think is worth traveling to see this weekend?
