A Ride Along Knocks out the Stars

The Ride Along 2 ultimate entertainment led comedy-seeking viewers through a winding, amusing road this weekend, stealing the limelight from Star Wars: The Force Awakens along the way (don’t worry about the Star Wars crew, though, they continued to keep audiences wide awake from a slightly lower but no less starry cinematic rung). Lacking a starry view, The Revenant took revenge to a whole new level, inviting audiences along for the way-less comedic ride.

In 13 Hours: The Secret Soldier of Benghazi, director Michael Bay’s latest war drama, captured moviegoers’ interest while an interesting-in-a-different-way Daddy’s Home remained a nice, funny place to visit.

Our current roster of characters were on a unique journey, traveling through the streets of Miami, the treacherous wilderness, starry skies, a diplomatic compound and a daddy-driven dwelling.

Where did your travels imaginatively take you this weekend?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Totals:

  1. Ride Along 2 $34 million.
  2. The Revenant $29.5 million.
  3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens $25.1 million.
  4. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldier of Benghazi $16 million.
  5. Daddy’s Home $9.3 million.
