An Out of the Ordinary Movie Experience

During the Ride Along 2 action, adventure and family-friendly entertainment this weekend, moviegoers can expect to meet a strange but satisfying assortment of characters (following their own unique route to fame and fortune, natch). New to the movie scene is Dirty Grandpa, who in the form of Robert De Niro promises foul but fun times. He would probably feel, well, right at home within Daddy’s Home, where dysfunctional family fun has reached an all-time high. Then there are our favorite high-flying old friends in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, who still circle our cinematic skies, correctly estimating their profits far outnumber the actual stars. Meanwhile, sweet new friend Norm of the North, determined polar bear that he is, is always looking ahead as he follows the most colorful path, searching in vain for better box-office results than opening weekend. Of course, The Revenant roundup, while far more triumphant, is far from friendly but fortunately their leading man, while rough around the edges, is oh-so-easy on the eyes. Next up, we’re sure to get an eyeful of horror as opposed to happy from The Boy, who’s got one creepy story to tell!

Luckily, In 13 Hours: The Secret Soldier of Benghazi will march alongside his formidable foes (i.e. his less-soldier-like competition) to level that bizarre playing field. During those hours and so many more, we can also expect an odd alien assortment to be riding in on The 5th Wave, wielding their own form of big-screen activity. Will they be bringing with them five times the entertainment the movie law allows?

Are you ready for a law-abiding visit with some weird but wonderfully imaginative characters?
