No worries, though, as our ageless assassin was too busy reconciling his rocky past with his, well, rocky present, to concern himself with heinous criminals outside of his own story. Bad Moms were enjoying their child-free break from reality while good friends were revealing The Secret Life of Pets (to both children and adults). Still floating successfully in an ageless space, audiences found that Star Trek Beyond anything currently found on our plain planet earth.

Corruption was running rampant this weekend, much to the delight of those shrewd studio executives who advocate that crime really does pay. A squad took on everything both under and beyond the stars, Bourne trumped Bad Moms and man’s best friend revealed the secret of it all: movies offer the coolest escape from the real world, with treks and trips worth the price of admission.

Which of our priceless tales were you trekking to see this weekend?
