Strange Cinematic Healing

Doctor Strange traveled through several dimensions, ultimately landing at the more surreal-than-strange top spot at the domestic box office. The inexplicably colorful Trolls found a golden path to moviedom while the folks traveling the war-torn path to Hacksaw Ridge found compelling drama waiting there. Boo! A Madea Halloween once again creeped out the rest of the competition and an ongoing Inferno cast a favorable light on its stars.
The stars arrived in odd but illuminating ways, creating a weird but wonderful weekend at the movies. A superhero was on his way to healing, Trolls came out to reminisce, the Ridge was rough, Halloween was still casting a creative spell and the fires continued to burn bright.
Which of our bright, brilliant tales got your vote this pre-election weekend?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Totals:

1. Doctor Strange $85 million.
2. Trolls $45.6 million.
3. Hacksaw Ridge $14.8 million.
4. Boo! A Madea Halloween $7.8 million.
5. Inferno $6.3 million.
