One Starry Ride

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was the brightest tale told this weekend, far surpassing the celestial beings hovering humbly beneath them. Moana was blissfully sailing on her own star power through the holidays, happy to be a profitable part of Hollywood’s ultimate Office Christmas Party, rubbing elbows with the cream of the cinematic crop. Will Smith brought his brand of Collateral Beauty to the big screen, further illuminating those star-studded skies. Cropping up in a more-bizarre-than-beautiful way were, naturally, those Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, who are clearly experts at discovering the best way to spend our non-holiday shopping time.
Beauty came crashing into our movie theaters this weekend in many forms as the stars were celebrated in high style, Moana was still marvelous and fantastic beings abounded as Hollywood once again hosted the coolest party (admission for the price of a movie ticket).
Which of our Hollywood-inspired stories made your weekend the coolest?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:

5. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $5 million.
