A Labor of Movie Love

It was a labor of love this long holiday weekend at the movies, as audiences tuned in for that swan summer song and found the cinematic melody within. Although hardly melodious, THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD continued to hit the right note with his audience while, protective gentleman that he is, leaving plenty of room for, among others, unstable ANNABELLE: CREATION (who clearly would not have handled being left out in the cold too well).
The folks sailing through WIND RIVER, meanwhile, were solving crimes and creating storms of the storytelling kind. Despite school bells ringing, our young audience members were still taking that LEAP! into an animated (as opposed to educated) world as LOGAN LUCKY sought a fortune-filled kind of education of his own.
The weekend was filled with twists and turns, crime busters, lunatics and countless lucky moments.
What was your favorite movie moment?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:
1. The Hitman’s Bodyguard $10.3 million.
2. Annabelle: Creation $7.3 million.
3. Wind River $5.9 million.
4. Leap! $4.9 million.
5. Logan Lucky $4.4 million.
