Mother’s Day?

IT obliterated the clown-less competition last weekend, proving that Stephen King definitely still has IT (whatever that is)! Does that hideous ANNABELLE: CREATION still have what it takes to keep moviegoers at her mercy? What about new-in-town MOTHER! (the exclamation point pretty much lets us know she’s no caretaker). Will audiences care about her?
After recovering from all the aforementioned horrors, it was good to come HOME AGAIN courtesy of a very non-threatening Reese Witherspoon. Will this weekend prove to be both horrifying and homey? Might THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD be taking an indefinite break from protecting Hollywood’s meek and mild?
The movie universe, fortunately, could still use his help as the AMERICAN ASSASSIN gets ready to take on the terrorists. Will he make an all-American killing? Speaking of crimes, how much longer will the crime solvers within WIND RIVER be blowing through movie town?
Wouldn’t it be a crime to miss out on all the law-will-allow fun?
