It Remains Royal

IT was still where it’s at (that would be #1) among fans of King and all things creepy. Creeping behind, the AMERICAN ASSASSIN was making reel life safe for real moviegoers. Keeping it real, audiences were happy to go HOME AGAIN, where the landscape was a bit lighter as opposed to life threatening. Hardly a lightweight, MOTHER! made her scary presence known while THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD struggled to protect and serve the movie masses.
Horror was King, an assassin was cool, home remained cozy and a non-maternal being was a mad mess while Reynolds continued to be a hit.
Which of Hollywood’s hits and misses made for an entertaining homecoming for you this weekend?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:
1. It $60 million.
2. American Assassin $14.8 million.
3. Mother! $7.5 million.
4. Home Again $5.3 million.
5. The Hitman’s Bodyguard $3.6 million.
