A Puzzling, Petrifying Movie Weekend

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.” William Shakespeare Macbeth
It was a wicked weekend, indeed, within our darkened movie theaters, as horror in all its gory came out to play.
Having the most fun, JIGSAW put the petrifying pieces together quite nicely this Halloween-infested weekend at the movies. Fortunately, there were still good times to be had for TYLER PERRY’S BOO 2! A MADEA HALLOWEEN while a less-than-fun GEOSTORM continued to stir one hot pot.
Audiences were still motivated to celebrate a HAPPY DEATH DAY, only too happy to honor all that the season inspires. BLADE RUNNER 2049 was running as fast as he could but sadly finished last in the box office top five.
It was an strangely inspiring weekend in our movie world, with horror still everyone’s favorite form of entertainment. The neighborhood was all (darkly) decked out, welcoming the oddest characters.
Which of our odd tales made Halloween darkly entertaining for you?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:
1. Jigsaw $16.2 million.
2. Boo2! A Madea Halloween $10 million.
3. Geostorm $5.6 million.
4. Happy Death Day $4 million.
5. Blade Runner 2049 $3.9 million.
