A Character Driven New Year

“Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed.” Cavett Robert

As we gradually replace the characters of 2017 with exciting (we hope) players soon to come, what will become of our resolution for a new year of stories? Will we resolve to live in the movie moment, hoping for another blockbuster season worthy of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI?
Always at home in a movie theater, how much longer will JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE make us feel, well, welcomed?
Will THE GREATEST SHOWMAN lead to a surplus of cinematic entertainment, with a PITCH PERFECT 3 adding just the right note to commemorate a brand new year?
Can FERDINAND push his way through all that aforementioned greatness and find the movie child within?
Perhaps INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY will open the door to a sinister but exciting start to 2018.
After making your “good” resolutions, which cinematic door will you walk through this weekend?
