Cinematic Freedoms

“Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better.” Writer Albert Camus

Can we make this weekend at the movies even better than last weekend, when Jurassic World: A Fallen Kingdom was the world to be a part of? Within that empire, are we free to choose our own larger-than-life heroes, seeing as how so many of them strangely love to appear during the summer? Ant-Man and the Wasp certainly hope so, as they plan to heroically take over the town. The Incredibles 2 have the freedom to duke it out with the latest Marvel wonders, in their own family-friendly way, of course (much to the relief of family guy Ant-Man).
Hardly possessing a warm, fuzzy feeling, will The First Purge involve us seeing the last of the Ocean’s 8 ladies, who are heroines only in their own self-serving minds? Can Sicario: Day of Soldado find more moments traveling the brutal Hollywood circuit alongside our favorite Uncle Drew, who ran freely through our cinematic courts his first time out to play, collecting countless fans along the way?
As we celebrate our freedom to choose how we celebrate this (almost) weekend, can our movie world get any better?
