An Impossible Mission Shows No Mercy

The possibilities were endless during Mission Impossible: Fallout, which continued to rise at the domestic box office this weekend. Disney’s Christopher Robin found a family-friendly location while helping us all find the adventurous child within. On his own odd adventure, The Spy Who Dumped Me, ironically, was well-received by audiences looking for a comedic diversion. Diverting to the tune constantly within her heart, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! was once again going the musical distance as The Equalizer 2 did his darndest to level out our movie choices.
The impossible mission this weekend involved enticing vacationers off the beaches and in front of the big screen, where they tangled with Tom, got cozy with Christopher and company, discovered a fun dumping ground for comedy and gave witness to Washington as we continued to find a musical mamma most appealing.
Which of our appealing tales made the most music for you this weekend?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:

2. Christopher Robin $25 million.
3. The Spy Who Dumped Me $12.4 million.
4. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! $9.1 million.
5. The Equalizer 2 $8.8 million.
