The Wicked Wonders of Halloween

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.” William Shakespeare
The wicked offered the most profitable of wonders this weekend at the movies, as Halloween continued to kill its competition in the most cinematically horrifying of ways. A Star is Born to musically light the way for the lesser stars among us, including the non-melodious Venom, who continued to vie for everyone’s superhero attention. Nighttime remained the best time to visit Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween while the Hunter Killer had audiences sitting up and taking notice (despite his lack of interest in all things Hallow’s Eve).
May your Halloween offer you equal parts happy and horrifying, in the cinematic sense, of course, complete with tons of candy and the coolest characters!

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:
1. Halloween $32 million.
2. A Star is Born $14.1 million.
3. Venom $10.8 million.
4. Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween $7.5 million.
5. Hunter Killer $6.7 million.
