The King Clobbers the Competition

The Lion King was the comeback kid this weekend, cinematically speaking, of course, taking the top spot at the domestic box office as only a true king can. A king in his own heroic right, Spider-Man: Far From Home continued to save summer moviegoers, our Toy Story 4 friends were still in animated attendance, moviegoers once again took in a catastrophic Crawl and Yesterday reminded us that the past contains some of the best story ideas.
Our story-filled weekend included many welcomed blasts from the past, a lion reigned supreme, home proved to be a state of cinematic mind, toys were all heart, a crawl throughout movie theaters was scary and music was the sweetest memory keeper.
Which of our sweet stories will be keeping a place in your memory?

Estimated Domestic Box Office Results:
1.The Lion King $185 million.
2. Spider-Man: Far From Home $21 million.
3. Toy Story 4 $14.6 million.
4. Crawl $6 million.
5. Yesterday $5.1 million.
